Annual Northamptonshire 14-19 Conference

The Annual 14-19 Conference took place at Highgate House on 16th June 2010.

It focussed on increasing participation post-16, with an emphasis on Foundation Learning and Apprenticeships. Further work is being undertaken, including a pilot for Foundation Learning, and more information will follow shortly.

The Powerpoint presentations below are the speakers' presentations from the morning. The Word documents are the exercises set on Foundation Learning from the afternoon, plus the collated feedback from that session:

 
DfE Update on 14-19 (July 2010)

This update pulls together announcements made since the change of Government about areas formerly covered in the 14-19 newsletter. The DfE will not be producing regular updates but want to ensure that local areas have all the available information in one place in order to continue to plan effectively for September 2010 and beyond.
